Our 1% Green Pledge

• We use a secure shredding company that recycles our papers
• We recycle plastics, paper, cardboard and aluminum
• We recycle toner and small appliances
• We use post consumer recycled office supplies, if available
• We scan and digitize most papers to reduce our paper use
• We use environmentally friendly cleaning supplies
• We will not use Styrofoam
• We purchase organic snacks for clients and staff
• We use only free-trade organic coffee for in-house use
• We buy locally when possible
• We purchase carbon offsets for a percentage of our energy consumption
• We support responsible Sierra Club activities and the Nature Conservancy, among other socially and environmentally conscious organizations
• 1% of our profits is used in our "plant a tree" campaign, to add 1000 plus trees to our Alpine forest.  So far we have planted 5 trees
