THE CREATIVE THOUGHT PROCESS

Your thought processes controls your effectiveness and performance. Understanding the thought process empowers you, causes you see it as a way to create your future rather than some outside force or inspiration to change you.

Each phase of your mind is characterized by it's own phenomenon - which is particular to itself.  Plus each phase of your mind, your conscious and subconscious is capable of independent action.  All, of course, still within your one mind!  Our goal is for you to understand the magical use of both your conscious and subconscious mind synergistically, harmoniously and peacefully.  If you grasp this concept and use it successfully it will bring harmony, health and abundance into your life. Beside the terms conscious and subconscious mind, other terms are also used to designate these two functions of your mind: they are your "objective mind" and your "subjective mind," plus you might also hear the terms "supraliminal" and the "subliminal," all are referring to the two different states of consciousness.

The objective or conscious mind relates to the objective world by means of our five objective senses: touch, smell, sight, sound and taste.

When you think, our conscious mind thinks or uses conscious thought; and it relies on five basic functions:  perception, assimilation, association, evaluation and decision.

With perception; through your five senses, you perceive your feelings, thoughts and emotions.  - As well as your external world.  Your senses tell you basically "this is the way the world is."  Perception starts before you are born and continues after your birth as your senses develop and grow.  You call this information "the truth."  You also call it reality - but it may not be reality - but rather it's your version of reality, or the truth, as you perceive it to be. This information is continually updated and stored in your subconscious.

With assimilation, you acquired both "good and bad" role models with correct and incorrect information. As you grow up, your record and store all the information gathered by your five senses in a "data bank."  If you use computer talk, it would be stored on your "hard drive."  Everything from your first sensations in your mothers womb, your first words, the first books you read, every fight, all your tears, all the people you met, the places your went, the secrets you know, the excitement and joy of every triumph, the sadness and agony of every loss.  And as in a film that we might all see - some us would give the film of this life two thumbs up - or maybe one thumb - or maybe no thumbs up...  it would be as we perceived it - truth, but different versions of the truth.

Through association - after you perceive and assimilate something and store it in your data bank - you associate any new event or experience in your life, by comparing it to information stored on your hard drive.  You mind automatically asks, "Have I seen something like this before?"  It will compare all the information in your subconscious to answer that question.

You then move to evaluation.  After you have associated what you perceive, you evaluate it against previous information in your "data bank" by asking, "Where is this leading me toward?"  You associate all of your possibilities and probabilities.  "Is it leading me toward happiness, pleasure and fun or is it leading toward pain, discomfort or stress?"  Really we are thinking, "Will this be good for me?"  Again - we would all record different versions on this film based on our own stored database!

Finally we come to a decision.  This decision is a course of action, usually is based on your needs and your goals.  You might react by taking action; or you might let someone else make a decision; or you might simply 'walk away' with no decision being made.  Many decisions are based on; not what is happening to you presently - but on what has happened to you in the past.
